lots of rain = MUD

These photos are from early June, we had tons of rain, and our backyard was just sopping wet. But the first nice day, the kids HAD to play outside.
I let them have their fun in the mud.










They had been messing with the pallets that I had put back there to cover up most of the muddy area (that someday is supposed to be the shed area) - they would lift one up and drop it and it would splash mud all the way to the top of the fence.

Grayson was jumping and stomping around, and eventually lost his shoes (does that sound familiar? LOL)
